There was an article in our newspaper today (News & Observer, Raleigh, NC) about this. The article was stating that it may be a fake...nothing remains of the hog, it was buried and the only evidence is the photo....

I have a picture of a bass I caught that would barely fit in the back of my pick up. 'course, not realizing it was a world record, I took it home and ate it.
