Yes, it will fit/work. If you don't buy it, I have a Lyman 48-FN, a better sight than the Williams in my opinion, that I will sell for $45 plus shipping.

Why do you like the 48-FN? How does it compare with the Lyman 57 or Williams Foolproof?

The Williams is entirely made of aluminum. The Lyman 57 is a budget version of the 48, also a good sight, doesn't have the slide release.
