I killed my first Rio Grande wild turkey in Texas opening weekend, completing my Lifetime Grand Slam, 38 years in the making. I took a great gobbler the next day as well. We had a great hunt and our group of twelve killed 17 turkeys. Nice bird, Conglads on the slam. I'm only missing the Florida bird. I'd rather go to TX or KS 2 or 3 times for the same money as the Florida bird. I'm hooked on the gobble!! | |||
