any body have any ideas for a custom synthetic stock for something a little heavier than a bdl stock, remington .308 20"

If you want the stock to weigh more than a 700BDL, I would buy an HS Precision and the fill the groove in the forend with lead shot and epoxy.

Any of the hunting stocks we make can be made to a specific weight if requested. Our standard BDL stock weighs a little more than 2 pounds but can make them as heavy as 3.5 pounds.

no problem, didn't bother me, like the stock with the black and white marbling just wanted a little heavier stock to help a little with the recoil, i will not carry it more than 200yds before arriving at my stand the extra weight will not matter
