AnotherAZWriterWell, it finally happened - firing pin broke
I went out yesterday to do some long range shooting and one of my rifles would not fire - the one I dry fire every single day. The firing pin had broken.
I have posted many time you can dry fire all you want with a Rem 700, but in this case, the firing pin lasted only about 15 years. I have another rifle I dry fired before that for a longer period that has not had a problem.
This rifle, BTW, was one I took to Masailand in January as my plains game rifle. Whew!

Sorry, I don't write hunt reports. I have a hard enough time just making short posts.
