| Thats the idea of a muzzle break. They reduce recoil and they do work. They make a heck of a lot more racket though. |

| I was really talking about the shots on the videos before the brake was added. The 416 remington has very little recoil before the brake is added. I have brakes on a few rifles and they work well, the Weatherby Accu-Brake being the best at taming recoil. |

| I've inquired about those myself. In addition to the recoil reduction, they also claim that their design is no louder than an un-braked gun. Sounds like a good idea for those heavy-hitters. |

| I agree, there doesn't seem to be very much recoil in the un-braked guns.
