Has anyone hunted Antelope in Unit 96? Anyone know a landowner that charges trespassing fee? Thanks for any help

Why would you want to pay a landowner tresspass fee for Area 96? If you get the BLM quad maps for that area of the state, you'll see that most of it is public land. No need to pay for access. The deadline for the drawing for tags is Mar 15. You can apply for a buck tag and also apply for 2 reduced price doe/fawn tags. The cost of the reduced tags is only $48 each. Even if you don't get the buck tag, you should get the doe tags and can just hunt on public land and fill the freezer. That's exactly what I plan on doing, but I'm going to try for either 91 or 92. What's true for 96 holds true for those areas as well.

Thanks Mac – My father and I have never hunted 96 (or any of the 90s) and wanted a new place to go. I have hunted Unit 50 a few times and always got a buck (and a couple of does) but wanted to go to an area with bigger bucks. 50 was nice but we never saw anything big. I have never spent any time in 96 so I’m willing to pay a trespass fee. I saw the checkboards on the BLM maps and was wondering if someone has a big ranch out there? Thanks
