I got drawn for a deer tag for Region F with hunt areas 105, 106, 110-115, 121-124, 127. I realize asking for advice for good places to start investigating to hunt might end me up in downtown somewhere. but I will ask anyway. Anybody have any suggestions?

Can't help ya. Deer hunting regions in Wyoming use a letter not a number. You learn something new everyday whether you want to or not.

Sorry people, in my haste and excitement I used a number rather than the correct letter. It is Region F.

For Region F I've hunted the National Forest along the edges of the wilderness areas. Clarks Fork valley, Sunlight Basin, the Hoodoo and south and north of Hwy 14 west of Cody and down 291. If you are going early the high country along the Beartooth Highway is beautiful, but toward the end of October you can get socked in with snow. But then its just a short run down to other areas at lower elevation. There are some state lands along the fringes of the National Forest as well. You can also hunt the drainage in vast areas of BLM land. You learn something new everyday whether you want to or not.
