Look what's hanging out in my buddy's backyard. If this was my backyard he would be in the freezer.

Yep, and with posting that picture, if that buck disappears and that rack shows up anywhere it will be tracked back to whoever shoots it before the flies gather on the carcass.

That is one of if not the most impressive buck I have ever seen.

Somebody really needs to be keeping an eye out for the sheds off that gentleman.

That particular buck has been photographed by a bunch of people. Anybody that kills that buck will go away for a while. How far is your buddy from the "partition palace" if you know what I'm saying.

So let me get this straight. "Here, look at how special I am, I know where this deer lives and I won't tell anyone."

Isn't the internet a wonderful place.

Why even post it?

Bend, Oregon.
I knew it, putting in for tags there for sure now.

Some us us like to admire a nice buck. If you feel that this deer will get you your pinnacle of achievement I'll give you his address.
For the record, I wouldn't shoot this deer out of my buddy's back door, if I ran across him after hiking up a mountain, it would be a totally different story.

I would be putting up a tree stand in that backyard in a hurry. But if it would piss your buddy off put the stand in his neighbors yard. Wink

Good Hunting,

You don't know a damn thing about me, my hunting or my relationship with SCI. I ENDED my relationship with SCI. I don't have a single animal entered into the SCI record book or B&C for that matter.

Hunting to me is very personal...almost spiritual. Rings, inner circles, brass bands and tuxedo's aren't part of it.

I like to admire nice deer as much as anyone.

I hunt Mule Deer solo, backpack into wilderness in Arizona. My comment had ZERO to do with killing that deer, it had to do with posting pictures for forum approval.

Why post a picture without saying something like this;

This deer was photographed in my pals backyard. He lives near Bend, Oregon. No hunting here, just thought the forum may like to see a picture of a stud.

Just my opinion, don't want or need a pissing contest over it.

What about just saying "thanks for the picture"?

I don't normally reveal location of deer I post pictures of. It's poor form. The only reason I mentioned it was because it's really not a secret anymore. This buck has hundreds of pictures floating around and that's a great thing IMO as it helps keep these big deer alive

X2

Heck, I would never post the location of a buck, nor the general area! If I did, my little town of 160 would be over ran with people from the Wasatch front!

Just ask Drummond if you don't beleive me coffee

Thanks for the picture Smiler

The way it was presented, it was like a secret. If it's a secret, why put it on the internet.
