| Hi, Do any of you have experience with these actions? Are they are better than the CZ mini-mauser action? |

| Not sure how "mini" you need, but the Kimber 84M is a very small, very good action. |

| I haven't seen the newest incarnation of the Mini Mark X, but intend to latch onto one in 7.62 x 39 as soon as it is available.
I had two of the previous Mini Mark X's. They are not as slick as a Sako, but of course are much less costly. The CZ has some cumbersome features like a bolt handle that interferes with low scope mounting, a proprietary mounting system which precludes the use of trim, light, low mounts, and a single-stack protruding magazine. The factory CZ stock also has far too much drop (in either configuration) for my frame. My preferences heavily favor the Mini Mark X. [ 10-03-2003, 22:36: Message edited by: Stonecreek ] |
