I shamelessly pinched the picture from another forum where they are speculating as to what this predator is... I have no further info or background and I have no idea what the "right answr" is... So guess away folks!

IMHO, it's the rare Photoshopus Majoris Fraudus although originally very rare they are becoming more and more common as people learn how to use computers better.

That picture is great for laughs. Damn that deer is small, it must weigh 20 lbs

That is a very large coyote. He and the deer were found as babies and raised together. They are well bonded and often play chase and tag until they are so tired they just fall over wherever the game ends and take a little nap. Normally they sleep in a hay filled box stall in the barn. They are such good friends that in the fall, during the rut, Fred, the coyote, will often herd up several does for Bongo, the deer, to service. And will keep competitive bucks chased away since Bongo is kinda small. Its really an amusing sight to see Fred back a doe against a stump and keep her there so Bongo can get up to his work.

I think it is just a large coyote and a small deer. The coyotes fur can be easily twice as long as the deers fur. and the deers legs are clearly longer than the yotes. So I don't even think the pic is doctored.
