Are the mountain pants and Timberline pants windproof?

I know the seat and knees are waterproof - just want to verify windproof.. I hate the wind cutting through me...

On the pants.........as far as i know, they are not. I believe the only ones that are windproof (Windstopper) would be the Stratus pants and the Fanatic bibs.

I have a pair of the Timberline pants that I wore this last Sept. up in the Yukon on a Dall sheep hunt and they were great. We had it all.....sun, rain, sleet, snow, etc. Loved em'.

Waterproof? Depends on the conditions and what you consider waterproof. For rain, I would say yes. Sitting on ice/frost for long periods....no. The seat may get a little damp, but nothing to worry about in my opinion.

If you have not done this already, compare what you are looking at in Sitka with Kuiu.

Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.
