I am going to be in Texas the third week of March 2017. Was thinking of booking an Axis hunt while I am there. Will the anterls on the Axis bucks be mature this time of year.
Thank You

I guide for Axis deer on the western edge of the hill country and in late March most of your bucks will be in velvet with a few hard horned bucks running around. Late April into May is when you will find the majority of your hard horned bucks. If your looking for a hunt check us out

I offer primarily free range hunts and also preserve hunts on 1 million acres across west and southwest Texas for native and exotic game.
