Well that's a loaded question. I say that no pipe tobacco compares with Irish ERINMORE from Murray & Sons. Having said it, I'm not prejudiced, of course...

Clan ! Pas possible, you can't be serious. Although, it's probably one of the best ways to shorten an otherwise long and boring meeting. But then, the smoker himself will pay a toll in the form of a headache...

Paul... I didn't know you smoked a pipe, too. What is this Black Bear tobacco, and the whiskey blend? I've never heard of it. Is this grown in Alaska? Where does one buy a sample? ~~~Suluuq
Fritz, As a matter of fact, I buy Erinmore in flake. I better fits the pocket than the bigger round mixture box. In Belgium it costs 5.15 /box, how much in Sweden (I couldn't find any in Karlstad airport)?

I'm not a big pipe smoker, but when I do smoke a bowl I generally smoke "1Q"... from my understanding it's the most popular blend in the US... it's a neophyte's blend as it's very smooth.
I have two pipes, a very nice Bari 1/4-bent apple and a full-bent Peterson "System" shape #305.

Saluuq,
I smoke one occasionally, my wife can't stand the smell. I picked the tobacco up at a tobacco shop outside the Carr's by our house. I'm sure the tobacco is grown in the states, then sent up here and blended. Next time I pick some up, I'll send some your way.
