then which bullet do you plan on using, because it looks to me like every bullet has a tale or two of failure attached to it.

I guess it all depends on what you expect from a bullet. i want a bullet to penetrate to vitals from any reasonable angle. I have seen bullets kill quite effectively, but come completely apart & not exit on a broadside shot. I think placement rather than bullet perf. saved the day, but had the animal been 1/4 even a bit, shot a bit forward or aft, could be a diff. story. For me that bullet is a failure but yes, the animal died in short order, but exp. like that make you think, maybe there are better bullets for the job, given the animal, distance, caliber, etc. That's why I don't hunt w/ a .243 or NBTs.
