We started a little early this year to accommodate a couple clients schedules and boy was it hot! It was pre rut/just starting the rut and a couple
brief yet much needed afternoon showers got these big rams up and moving. We saw a bunch of Aoudad and one that is on the hit list for next time.
Also why we were out hunting aoudad another client was successful on a solid scimitar bull oryx on one of our other properties.
Free range (no high fences) Aoudad in west Texas is an fun challenging hunt. Happy Hunting

What would be the price on a Scimitar Horned Oryx. I have Gemsbok, but not the Scimitar horned. Am interested, if I can afford it.

Top notch Aoudads !
That top one I can almost smell him from here, what a raunchy old Ram he is and I mean that with all due respect.

He was stanky for sure! You can still smell him in the bed of the truck and he has not been there for 5 days!

When are the Oryx huntable or is there any season. Need to get past a few bills, but looks like something I could do. Is there Addax out there too. Understand they around but not sure if mixed with the Oryx, or have to look else where. thanks

Since they are an Exotic the season is year round. Best hunted outside the summer months when it is 100+ degrees so from late September into April is ideal.

I do have Addax on some of the same properties as the Oryx. We only hunt 1 or 2 bulls a year but I am sure I can put a combo hunt together for you when your ready.
