I am a relatively new member to AR. I have seen your name on the forum and often wondered if you were the famous American PH and developer of the excellent .416 Hoffman. I have read your earlier postings and obviously you are the person.

I highly recommend Mr. Hoffman's book A Country Boy in Africa. If you are lucky, you could get Mr. Hoffman to autograph it for you.

It's a great read and very informative as well as a good insight to African hunting. I'm also very certain you will enjoy the book. It's nice to read the PH's side and to see the effort put forward to make a trip enjoyable and successful.
