HeatThat is classic

.
A couple of seasons ago we were just heading down the main forest road on opening day when a guy in a car about that size came zooming the other way with one stuffed inside

. It took up most of the car and the driver was smashed up against the steering wheel. We were betting he was high tailing it to Flagstaff to get it processed

WWhunterI didn't have the whole elk on top of my car but I shot a nice bull with my bow years ago and was driving a Toyota Tercel. The meat from the bull and the two mule deer inside the car made it drag on the ground nearly all the way home. The Elk rack was tied to the top of the car and was as wide as the car....we sure got lots of looks going down the highway.

Paladin45It was a woman that shot it and the land owner was a close friend and put it up there with a front loader.

" If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand which feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countryman " Samuel Adams, 1772

Rub LineI stuffed an elk and mule deer, both skun and quartered, into a Ford 500 trunk and drove 1700 miles. Packed in dry ice and some foam board insulation, they were in perfect condition when I got home. The antlers were harder to get in the car than anything.
