Walking up to a giant--VIDEO
Thought you guys might like to see the video of us walking up to Mike Martin JR's buck "as it happened". Unfortunately I was unable to get the shot on video as Mike had to use my shoulder as a rest

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...re=player_embedded#!

Hope this works...

Know the feeling well
The crunch of rough quartz gravel under your boots
dodging the spiney things, weaving thru the brush,
until HE comes into view....

Damn nice Sonora muley... don't know what the poster above is trying to insinuate but it doesn't get much more free-range than the Sonoran Desert!

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Wow, quite a nice buck. Good job!

I wonder why the old embed code isn't available? That shows the video on your thread here rather than redirecting to youtube.

You got it. Tongue in cheek comment, not meant to call the deer into question in any way.
