Ladies and Gentlemen:

My interest in wolf introduction, management and predation has been reignited recently. My conclusion has not changed, but I have become interested in the opposition.

I am curious. What does anyone know about "Defenders of Wildlife", one of the lead plaintiffs in the two wolf lawsuits filed in Federal District Court in Missoula, Montana in 2008 and 2009?

I've perused their web page, and a few other places, but does anyone have any first hand knowledge about this organization?

They don't appear to be overtly anti-hunter, but something doesn't sit right.
