Talk about the grand plan to eliminate hunters, shooters, and the act of hunting. These idiots make me sick. http://www.aolnews.com:80/nati...-population/19340244

Well it's cetainly worked fine at Yellowstone. Maybe they could put a bunch of invisible fences up, and collar all the wolves. That way there is no way they would venture out of the parks Let us speak courteously, deal fairly, and keep ourselves armed and ready Theodore Roosevelt

It's working in MT just look at the large decline in the deer and elk populations here. no game no hunting no need for firearms. The radical environmentalists have been using the endangered species act against us for a long time. It's time for people to stand up and say no more! If the feds won't control the wolves than the people need to do it either through voting or by actually eliminating the problem like our forefathers did in the past. For those of you that live in states without wolves you need to take action also because it won't be long until the wolf will be at your door. In the grand scheme of things it's not about game control or wolves it's about control of the people. So boys and girls stand up now or face the consequences later.

The limiting of human hunters has always been a goal of the pro wolf crowd. They would much rather have a deer, elk be ripped apart by wolves then have one shot by a human.

We just need to be patient. Let the packs migrate back east to Chicago and St Louis and we will have a solution in mere days. Rich I hear leaving a carcass with ground up glass sprinkled in works. Cheap, too. Dead lambs this time of year are about fifty-cents apiece.

I know nothing! I think that the locals have hit the end of their fuse and are starting to take matters into their own hands. The feds have pushed wolves down our throat and we are starting to push back. Right or wrong I think wolves have started a small rebellion. Surprisingly Field And Stream has a decent article on the wolf problem in this months issue. P.S shoveling takes too much time I prefer the ss method.

I disagree, let's transplant some of the western wolves there. Grizzlies too, while we're making the trip. I am not very patient.

The whole thing is very Australian. Playing God, determining who lives and who dies; what's "native" and what's not. Cull this. Cull that. Set out poisoned sausages. That's feral. That's not. Every time we screw around with mother nature, we screw ourselves, but we do it over and over because we're so impressed with our own self-importance.

I think that we need a balanced game management plan for each state that has wolves. Frustrated as some hunters are is S.S.S. really the type of hunting ethics and sportsmanship that we want to be known for. Why can't we set up a biologically acceptable number of wolves for each environment and then anything above that number gets a hunting season. We do it for deer why can't we do it for wolves. If a farmer started randomly shooting trophy deer and elk just because he believed it would somehow help his farming I wouldn't respect him much either. Why should this be any different?

The feds promised that, during the initial release of Canadian wolves, but now 10 years after the wolves reached those magic numbers, they are still protected in Wyoming. It has become a political game. And a joke!

"On paper this might look like a great idea," he says. "But ... you have too many outside influences, political and human-caused." This is the kicker to the whole argument. Grizz Indeed, no human being has yet lived under conditions which, considering the prevailing climates of the past, can be regarded as normal. The feds said that the wolves were to number 10 breeding pairs and no more than 150 individuals. They hit that mark long ago and nothing has been done about it until now. I live right in the middle of this and have seen the massive devastation of our deer and elk herds. It's easy to talk about natures balance and the spiritual majesty of the wolf and all the other warm and fuzzy BS if you don't live near the problem and don't see the results that the wolves bring. The people of MT, ID, and WY Have been lied to from the beginning. The fish and shame in MT has lost all creditability and can never be trusted again. The politics of this issue run deep and in the end it's not about the wolf and wildlife management it's about control of the people.

Ladies and Gentlemen: As a concerned predator myself, I consider the best tool to balance nature is a first class Mauser actioned rifle. Who wants four legged, furry competition anyway? 25 years ago I worked for a furrier in Reading, Pennsylvania. One of the coolest male oriented fur coats was coyote skin. Imagine what could be done with . . . . Sincerely, Chris Bemis
