Is it me or did he shoot that thing at the top of the neck? Is that "the shot" from that angle/distance? I suppose there are some big arteries there. Whatever works. I wonder how far it went before dropping. Very cool video. Lucky dude.

Excellent! I leave in the morning for a Moose hunt, so that was well timed. I"m bringing a rifle and a bow, so I think I know which one I"m going to use! good shooting

Copido - At 6 feet with a bow pulling 60-70lbs (which most would use on a moose), that arrow most likely was back in the ribs after going through the neck/frontal chest. I would not be afraid to make the same shot with a 60-70lb bow at that distance with a cut on contact broadhead. Very exciting video indeed "Let me start off with two words: Made in America"

What kind of bow? Arrow weight? Broadhead weight? Surely it will be fine. Most bows built in the last 6 years are made soo much better then ones of yesteryear. With high Kinetic Energy, Speed, efficiency, and good let off Good luck on your hunt Brass! Be sure and write a full report on here when you get back. If you can try the bow out early in the hunt and use the rifle as a last resort. I am sure it would be exciting to get that close to such a big critter "Let me start off with two words: Made in America"

I'm not worrying about the power. I suppose it should just about be able to shoot right through solid bone at that range. I'd probably have shot for the chest though. Not that I've ever bowhunted. splitting hairs at that range i suppose.
