I have had a tree stand for 3 years and i think this fall i will give it ago.It is not a climber it is just a regulare one my two questions are what do you guys use to make the steps and is there a web site to show how to use it properly and how to hang it.Thanks

I used one for a while, but you really need straight trees to use one, not mesquites. I used the cheap screw in steps, but be careful, after a few times using they will get brittle and will twist off. I also used a lock on the chain, didn't trust the latch.
Keep the chain above the top of the stand and you should be fine.
