I wrote Bestwestern international about my displeasure of their dropping the affiliation with the NRA. This is their response.

Best Western is a diverse global organization with over 4,000 hotels. We value the entrepreneurship, independence and freedom of our individual hotels owners and operators. As a brand, our organization is apolitical and is not a member of any political organization because we respect diversity in opinion, which ultimately strengthens our organization and our respective countries.

Yep, she should be a politician the way she did that circle jerk response!

According to her last sentence, they are apolitical and do not 'take sides'. So why did she take sides against the NRA?

I think they call this 'doublespeak' in the world of politics...

I wonder what will happen at the Best Western at NY/NJ/PA border as they have been hosting gun shows there on a regular basis ?

They are a franchise.I doubt they can set policy for all their franchise owners.
