The weather was lame but after a nice hike in a spot where didnt see anything I had to go to one more field where I thought the deer might get out of the wind a little bit. The boys wanted to stay in the truck so I let them. I shot this deer within 400 yards of the truck but the visibility was too poor to even see the truck from there. I did get the boys help for getting the deer back to the truck though. Howa 308 winchester. 125 Sierra sp 30 yard head shot. I took the picture but yes I was about as toasty as one can be in 17 degree weather with the snow blowing sideways. -------------------- THANOS WAS RIGHT!

Congratulations. I was hoping you would keep that weather up there, nope! You had to share! Thursday, 62 and sunny, Friday rain and snow 28, now today my yard looks like where you shot that deer!

Congrats! We could use some of that cooler weather down here in Colorado. Been in the upper 60s during the day and effectively shutting down any game movement. Congrats again! Graybird "Make no mistake, it's not revenge he's after ... it's the reckoning."
