I have often seen where guys state WHY they hunt, but I left the Upper Midwest 11 years ago to come to where I live now to be in the midst of all of this beautiful world around me...

While I found tons of beauty in Minnesota, the Dakotas, Iowa Nebraska, Wisconsin... my heart is still here in the western USA...

I went up scouting some this past week and took the digital camera along....

I hunt up about 3500 feet here... which is west of I 5...

I'd like to see a few of our other western states brethern show some of the pics of where we hunt....

Very nice! I miss the mountain West, and it's a 650 mile drive to the Rockys from where I live now! I used to hunt them daily after a night shift, getting off at 500 AM, with a short drive into the mountains!
