w7,
I thought oryx were one/lifetime. Is that only for nonresidents?

Brent, we also have depredation hunts on the range. There are instances where herds get into certain areas that they can't be. ie; runways....etc. So in these instances, you can hunt as many times as you can draw.....wapiti7

Las Cruces. Where's your hunt this year? My brother in law drew a BHO tag for Stallion in January 2008.

My buddy and I drew the august badge hunt. I think we'll kill a couple of slammers. I am also coming down there on friday for an oryx hunt on the Armendaris. Hopefully we'll kill a good one......wapiti7

I was also skunked again this year, so can a non resident get in on any of the other Oryx hunts? Anything but a landowner tag, not wanting to spend that kind of money.

The drawing has already come and gone, so the only other possibility is a landowner authorization. Otherwise, you can hunt one in texas for a pretty good deal. I can set this up for you if you would like. wapiti7

I put in for the August badge hunt. The odds should have bee pretty good, but it didn't happen. That's why I don't buy lottery tickets. I was probably the only applicant for that month not to get drawn! Big Grin
