Hi folks, Not at all certain which forum to try this on so I'll start here. I'll be in Utah during the first week of June for a course. Is there any hunting to be had at that time of year? I'm guessing hogs would be the only game in town, and that would be fine with me. If you have any ideas, please pass them on. Go fishing. That's probably the best bet. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. He looks like you owe him money." - Robert Ruark, Horn of the Hunter, 1953 NRA Life, SAF Life, CRPA Life, DRSS lite

I would look into taking a float trip down the Green River. Some great trout fishing. MG

yeah about the only hunting in june around here is jack rabbits and maybe praire dogs, if you can find them out east or in wyoming. I wish we had hogs here. fishing should be good though in times when one needs a rifle, he tends to need it very badly.....PHC

That is an excellent suggestion. The seven miles below the Gorge dam is a world class trout stretch and Flaming Gorge is host to numerous state records including 50+ lb mackinaw. Closer to SL is also Strawberry resivoir which has some big cutthroats or the Provo river if your into fly fishing. Make sure you read the proclimation though. They all have strict slot limits.
