I'm 67 years old, I have used a lot of scopes and yes even the European varity and I have sent a lot of varibles back, both European and American..

C. Atkinson has been wrong in the past...I just don't know when. After all, he's human. The day I catch Atkinson in a mistake I will get drunk and run naked through the streets, because it will mean that I have learned enough to have a slight idea about what the fuck I am talking about. I suggest you wait for that same day.

You are a little off base about the registration thingy. Cold Bore (Gary) has been a member of this site a whole lot longer than that. And Ray Atkinson even longer. This site has gone through a re-registration process for some of the members. It was a software glitch.

Just my impression, but it appears that you are consistantly taking the fight to Ray. Really it is your loss and not his. I have met Ray and have corresponded quite a bit with him. He is one of the few remaining people that does business based on his word alone. That is very rare and the most effecient way of doing business. He is building a gun right now that I am buying from him at his cost. I don't know why he is selling it to me like that, but he is. His time has got to be worth something.

Which leads me to another point. Ray and a few others will freely give their experience and advice on this board if you just ask. The only thing they seem to require is that we act like gentleman. Not a big price to pay. You can decide on your own wheither or not you agree or will take the advice. One of his closest friends is George Hoffman. That ought to tell you what kind of man Ray is. Mr. Hoffman doesn't associate with just anybody. And we all know that George Hoffman is a real somebody. I guess that would make Ray Atkinson a real somebody also.

This internet is an interesting thing. I have followed your posts. You seem quite intellegent and knowledgeable about a number of areas. You would probably be a blast to hang around a campfire with. Then you could show me all of the animals at nite with your European scopes. But I would never be able to find out just how much fun you could be if I wouldn't give you a chance. Now would I? I have given Ray Atkinson a chance (probably the other way around) and I have found an individual that I really look forward to dealing with at any level.

I've said my peace. I really hope that we can tap into Ray's and other's experience for a long time to come.
