I, using the winchester 300 gr partition for deer in my 45-70 and I'm happy with it. I see that winchester has a partition 12 gauge slug ,385 gr @ 2000 fps. That should be ausome performance . Has anyone used it ?

Knocks the snot out of them. Recoil will clear your sinuses as well. Supreme 2 3/4" slugs in my 870 kick harder than my 375 H&H.

Hey Skibum, Did you have a chance to recover any of them? If so, what kind of weight retention did you get? Did it look just like a regular old Partition all opened up, but of course larger?

I have been happy with the 2 3/4" version; very little recoil in a semi-auto.

I couldn't stand it any longer, I went out to the garage and measured my last 3-shot group. 1 1/4" from outside edge to outside edge meaning the group measured less than an inch center to center.
