I was hoping to find out what elevations I should concentrate on this time of year. I'll be taking my son on his first deer hunt this fall. Was also wondering if deer can be found in good numbers in the sage flats north of Hwy 50. This is a new area for us. Thanks in advance!

It is all dependent upon weather. As the season progresses, weather usually pushes them down into the sage. The big boys are usually the last to come down, which usually takes place around the rut, which you'll miss.
