Very nice heavy rack. Was this in Western OK where there are some Mulies too? Wonder if he has a bit of Mule blood in him?

He almost has a mulie face...But the buck I killed this year

in CT was grey too.

Took this guy right at last light after a 500 yard stalk over open ground. He was busy bothering 3 does and made a fatal mistake. Shot him with my M-70 Winchester in 30-06 with factory Hornady 165 grain Interbonds. The shot was from about 75 yards and he ran maybe 50 after being hit through both lungs behind the shoulders.

Kinda looks like a Muley in the face. Great rack and a good shot to boot. That will make an interesting mount.
