That’s really neat. From hunting pheasants in South Dakota to going along on ICE raids in New York City, then riding Horseback with The Border Patrol in Texas and hunting moose in the Yukon, you’ve gotta admit Kristi Noem is a huge upgrade from the kind of people the Biden Administration had in positions of authority. She’s a badass, and you couldn’t say that about anyone in the previous administration.

You left out her amazing bird dog training skills. Shooting a puppy because you are too lazy to train it just screams badass. 2020

I have been running bird dogs for three decades, pics from my last trip on wild birds. Three species, all walk in public ground, running a flusher on the prairie late season. I know a bit about bird dogs.

Bird dogs take work, something that ICE Barbie did not want to commit to.

Big deal I have been training dogs for 5 decades.

I have trained Police canines. I trained all kinds of hunting dogs.

I been around hundreds of working dogs.

Some dogs are not redeemable.

Dogs that are to aggressive.

Some dogs just are not mentality fit.

Those types of dogs are best taken out of the gene pool.

The average person might own 5 pets in their lives.

Life is to short to but up with a bad dog.

All true but you still have to train the damn things, something Noem was too fucking lazy to do. It was not a faulty dog, it was a faulty owner.

The dog was a known biter.

I find it far more important some times to train the owner.

That can be the hardest part.

I had a fellow the other day ask me to train is lab. I told him 500 to train the dog.

Another 500 to train him. Training the dog would be far easier.

Noem obviously needed some training, clueless and then some.

The story revolved around an out of control bird hunt followed by an attack on her neighbors chickens as I remember it, nothing to do with biting. No mention of her steadying her pointing dog, nor was their an explanation as to why she would take a dog that she clearly could not control to her neighbors house, off leash.

Faulty dog owner, not a faulty dog.

I do not consider photo ops like going on “raids” and horseback rides an improvement.

She had no business on raids. She just hanged in the back until all clear was given and permitted to get some photos done. It made the situation more dangerous having her there.

It was others who started about politics. We left the conversation of a moose hunt when folks decided to praise her for her political actions.

PD, you have more years being part of, and leading active teams than junior has been alive.
Could you explain, sitting in an office and reading reports like Mayorkas, is not the same as watching them work, and talking to your boots on the ground team.
I known heym is expert in all things, being a pencil pushing desk jockey, but you could enlighten him a little.

Pets and working dogs are not always the same.

I have friends who are hounds men and mushers. To get a good pack or team one Has to go through a lot of dogs.

Keeping the culls around costs lots of money.

Selling or giving away ones culls tend to get one a bad reputation.

Simplest solution is a bullet to the back of the head.

Having a patrol dog that is overly aggressive or doesn't obey is law suits waiting to happen.

I been out with many a hound pack where a dog was given one more chance. A lot of time those dogs never came back.

Putting up with a dog that causes oneself problems makes for 10 to 15years of misery.

A good dog is a joy to have around a bad dog is a real PITA.

I personally don't put up with it.

One hounds man I know had this philosophy. Never pay more for a dog then your willing part with.

Meaning if the dog turns out bad you don't feel the lost when you shoot it.

His pack had a very good reputation of preforming very well.

Being a hounds man and getting to attached to your dogs. Your asking for a sad life.

Once you let them go they can die many ways.

There's no need to kill a dog in this day and age unless it truly is vicious and uncontrollable (usually owner's fault).

You rat bastards in here talking about killing a dog because it's not a great hunter would be the firsts ones on my list to bury given the choice. I would risk my life for my hunting dog and best friend. Anyone who says that a dog is nothing more than a tool has no soul.

I don't even know the story behind her killing a dog but she has a job to do and as long as she does it well I could give a s*** about her personal life and or looks.

Norm’s merits aside, if you think she’s not a giant upgrade over Mayorkis insisting the border was secure while millions entered illegally, you simply don’t want to accept a glaringly obvious truth. At least she is presiding over removing the worst illegals that Biden and Mayorkis welcomed into our country.

You know who was not leading the raids, and had no business bring there? Noem.

You cannot dispute that no matter how much you run your mouth. She was kept in the back, safe. When all clear was given she was permitted to take some photos.

You know she had no active role. Instead of arguing she did, you male idiotic statements.

Go swing out of a trees tend. See how it works out for you.

It is fairly normal for big wigs of all stripes to show up and take credit.

Police chiefs and sheriff's are on top of the list.

99% of them. You do not want them in with the front line troops.

So you keep them in the back ground let them come forward after the dust settles.

They do their thing you continue on with yours.

Ahh, heym. There is an easy way to settle things. I keep 10 grand in cash in my safe at all times. You put yours up, I will fly down. Pick a suitable tree, I will step off the limb and catch myself. I would go double or nothing with you if you think the first was a fluke. You let me know when.
As to Noem.
For four years the news repeatedly told of the BP agents never seeing Mayorkas, or that he even talked to them. Mayorkas even threw his men under the bus with the false whipping story. Even with the proof in hand he didnt apologize for over a year, that he was wrong.
You are not a leader Heym. Noem is showing she heard the agents, and is present. As PD said, brass stay back and watch. Until drones and battle cams, even Generals would be on hand at battlefields. Not leading the charge, but to observe and make changes.
You are on here always wanting respect, you dont deserve. You tooted you could be a judge!
Respect in a courtroom is not the same as respect for the person. If you joined the military, you would have been weeded out in OCS or placed in administrative position if you passed. If enlisted, you would have received a blanket party every night until you got the picture.
I am closer in age to you, than many of the other posters here. So the "kid" reference is to your petulant nature rather than age. The potential to grow into a man is there. But to try and be an expert on things you know nothing about to get respect, falls short.
But, I know some never grow out of it too, you may be one of them.
