Hunts available for purchase



Due to unforeseen circumstances one of our members

needs to sell the following hunts.





1) 4-day red stag hunt for one hunter in New Zealand. Includes trophy fees for one red stag up to silver medal.

South Pacific Safaris New Zealand - Mike & Deborah Wilks

Value: $ 6,000, paid $5,000 – will take less than price paid

This hunt needs to be taken in May or July 2006.





2) 8 or 10-day wolf or black bear and grizzly hunt for one hunter in the Yukon.

Hunter's choice of a winter wolf or spring bear hunt! On the winter wolf hunt, the hunter rides a snowmobile along the many rivers until wolves are spotted. The wolves can also be called and there are bait stations to increase the odds. The value of this hunt is $4,600. The spring grizzly hunt is based out of a boat which is used to run the same rivers as the winter wolf hunts. There are cabins for most accommodations but there may also be nights spent in tents. Floating the river is an option if the hunter chooses not to walk. The value of this hunt is $4,600 plus $4,500 when the grizzly is taken. The $4,500 harvest fee is not included. Black bear is included in the donation but is not the focus of the hunt. One hunter per guide. Rifle only may be used with forty rounds of ammunition recommended. Additional hunters may be added at $4,600 and non-hunters may be added at $2,500. Trophy prep is included but transportation to the shipper is not included. The hunting license fee is $150 and the bear tag is $30. CITES permits are required but are free. Transportation to/from Watson Lake, Yukon to the hunting area is provided. Accommodations before/after the hunt in Watson Lake are $100 per night. References include Ken Eason, Ward & Sherrie Jones, C.K. Lawson and Greg Williamson.
