Thought I'd take a minute brag up my nephew. He had a pretty good year last season.

His 3rd elk taken with a Remington Pump in >270 Winchester. This elk was taken in the late season in Area 2 in NorthWest Colorado.

An eating size feral hog from Zapata Tx.

A 22 pound gobbler taken off a friend's ranch in Eastern Colorado.

A couple pretty good brookies from a small stream on the Gore Range in Colorado.

Not bad for a kid of 15 years old.

Looks like he had a Great year. But you must be mistaken about the rifle. You know there's no way a 270 could kill an elk. Wink

Looks like he had a really good year. Wish I had pics to post of my nephew. My brother doesn't get to hunt much, so I try and take him a few times a year. He still hasn't bagged his first deer yet. Guess I'm bad luck for him or something. Maybe next year.
