BFaucettRe: T.R.'s Louisiana Bear Hunt
"
Although the 1902 hunt in Mississippi is much better known, Roosevelt actually succeeded in tracking and killing a black bear during a 1907 hunting trip in the Northeast Louisiana canebrakes."
The 1902 hunt resulted in the Teddy Bear.

mehulkamdarNickudu,
Thank you very much for this post. Isn't it great reading about leaders who believed in sportsmanship and loved the outdoors?

I wish someone would explain to the greenies that it is men like these who culd be trusted to preserve the environment and not the cannabis smoking Greenpeace supporters.
Good hunting!
