went out yesterday evening for Wisconsin's bow opener.

Score saw 4 wolves 3 does. I am in a buck only zone so no shots were taken.

Three of the wolves were with in 25 yards of me on the walk to the truck another sat down while looking at me about 80 yards away it let me get with in 40 yards of it before it decided to take off at a trot.

But the courts have ruled we need more of them so we have no season on them.

Sorry to hear that...the situation in Northern Wisconsin is a complete disaster from what I'm hearing. I'll be up there to do my part when Wolf season opens back up...god willing.

I was reared to respect and comply with all laws. Sadly, we have some on the books that just flat fly in the face of logic. This is one of them: that we cannot take the apex predator out of the mix.

The scriptures tell man he has dominion over all the beasts of the field. I think that includes wolves, too.
