I will be spending the last ten days of November with In-laws around Bartlesville OK. Would like to get in some deer hunting but none of my wife's family hunt. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Tim:

I don't know much about hunting OK.
When trucking thru there I saw most
around river bottoms and such type
covers, and around lakes and such.

Good luck,
George

We once owned a ranch in Oklahoma. What I do recall is that it was a ridiculously short season.

Find out what the prevailing wind direction is in that area and use Google earth to help determine viable stand locations.

OnX maps can help show you what your boundaries are to make it even more clear.

PM me if you’d like some input on stand site selection
