Slammed a good eating yearling last weekend and had some fine eating tonight. I deboned one of the rear hams and slow cooked about a 3lb roast for the wife and I.

I seasoned and seared the meat, made a large skillet of gravy, sliced up some taters, sliced an onion, and tossed it all in a pot to slow cook. I used a pressure cooker to get quick results and must say it worked well. Quite tender and tasty.

Of course you have to have the pan of cornbread to soak up the gravy and a nice glass of Southern sweet tea will wash it right on down Smiler

The wife had me cut up some stew meat as well and she's going to slow cook vegtable/deer stew in the crock pot tommorrow.

Ya'll have a Good One,

I can darn near smell it from the flick. Big Grin Has my mouth watering.

Sure hope you used a fine, never improved upon Lead or Lead Core Bullet to Kill it with. We need to be more careful than ever now not to loose our ability to use real Bullets.

Congratulations on a fine Kill and a fine meal.

PS I'll take Lemon in the Tea and option the Sugar. thumb

It just needs some carrots in it and it would be good to go.
