I have been scouting the StillWater and Fishtail Plateu without seeing hide nor hair of any sheep. Been to Wilderness Lake and Mount Wood also. Can anyone help me out on where else to possibly look. I have been up in the above areas 6 times without seeing any sheep. Is the StillWater Mine worth looking at? Any help would be appreciated. I did hear wolves on 2 occassions maybe they ran the sheep out of the area?

They probably eat em.

There was a thread on this a year or so ago with some very good info. you might want to search and find it.

Lots of sheep around the Stillwater mine, but don't waste your time. They are protected there and no firearms are allowed in the area of the minesite. Great place if you just want to watch them tho'.

Have you tried the West Rosebud across from the lake, at the top?

I see them up there when looking for bears.
