Sorry, no photos, but I carved up a couple of bullets this weekend. One was a Rem .308 150 gr PSPCL and the other a Hornady .308 150 gr SPBT.

The Remington Corelokt slug (lead portion) had a deep ring around the cannelure as well as a small ridge at the heel. This heel ring is similar to that described for the new Grand Slam bullets but is only about .003". (don't know what the speer ones are).

The Hornady had a similar ring at the cannelure as well as the advertised Interlock ring which was about .004" and very sharp.

It looks like the Remington guys were way ahead of the pack for "conventional" bullets.

The reason the Core Lokts look like the Inter Locks, is that Hornady is making,
or has made, a lot of the 150 gr spcl for Remington in the last year.
