Did Swamp get kicked off his server or something? I remember him saying if he didn't do something about the volume he would be shut down until he got a dedicated server. Whats the word?

What happened? Are you not able to pull it up at all? I know guys were complaining lately about it being slow.

Gary, I can't pull it up at all. I get a server error. I tried last night from home and today from work. All systems are fine here.

I think Swamp has taken off for Christmas. He was trying out new software and it seemed to be doing better but it had many bugs.

As most of you know, I am over there at HuntAmerica too. The last day or so, it seems to be running right along. Don Wald and Swamp-thing are working hard to get rid of the gremlins that automatically implant themselves when a big change-a-roo like this is undertaken.

It does seem to run quite a bit faster on my computer.

I know there have been some heated discussions over there and some have even "jumped" to this board for continuation...but, I've met and shot with some of those folks over there and am proud to know them. Good folks trying to spend spare time quasi-constructively like us all.

John how can that be? Ditto's to that, he's now into switch barrels now. Some Saur 202 thing. I seen them, they are well, not what I would consider for a rifle to hunt with. But then again, I'm the kind of guy that would take a Brno ZKK and spent a grand and have all the rough edges smoothed out and like The David, get a real rifle to shoot. My gunsmith is reworking one in 9.3 x 62. I plan on a fixed 4x German # 1 Redical. Should be ready for Botswana later this year.

Swamp's new Sauer 202 ("It shines, Baby, it shines!") might just prove to be the best paper killer he's ever had.....

If some of you could see how petty you look when you post things like that, I don't think you'd do it.

You're like a bunch of old biddies sitting around your tea set, complaining about other people's faults.

George,

Could you be possibly biased in your opinion

Someone on HA Political called Toby has suuggested I have torn down HA by not donating.

I posted on this thread to Mark how to get there as well as making a subtle suggestion on the African forum that some HA posters could be better off there than here.

What more could I do to help Swampie

Mike,
Yes, I'm a Forum Leader at HA, but I'm far less biased in favor of HA (I have been a member here and HA for a long time) than you are against it, or more specifically, Swamp.

I've stayed out the pissing match between you and Swamp since it's none of my business.
However, tearing down HA just because you dislike the owner strikes me as petty and pointless.

If you don't like HA, stay away. Better yet, stop stroking your noodle and put up your own (competing) site. You can run it exactly the way you want since it will be your site.

George,

I made my post on donations that since I would not donate then I was not entitled to use a site where others did donate.

The only exception has been a thread on HA Political that PH invited me to come to as it revolved around a question raised on Saeed's political.

I will miss using HA since there are so many little old ladies over there that I could always get a rise out of.

I don't dislike Swamp as such. It is just that he presents such a target. Like being in one of those shooting galleries where the little ducks go by and all of a sudden a big duck appears on the moving belt.

One shot fired Swampies away will then arouse his army as well as causing Swamp to go into full overdrive in link posting.

George, this stuff is not serious.
