First off special thanks to the guys that made this possible, to Dave, Aric, Cody, Ted, and Scott as without your help my daughter wouldn't have been sucessful! Due to family emergencies earlier this year I was out of vacation and personal days to take her, so these adopted family members made this hunt possible for my daughter.

Here is my daughter with her first ever mule deer buck, and he's a dandy 4 point with a unique rack. She shot it at 280 yards with a Howa Alpine rifle in .308 Win. She also won the award for longest pack out of all the deer taken this year.

And I see she is a fan of Colorado's new regulation allowing fluorescent pink and/or blaze orange.

Congrats again! Your daughter is becoming quite the accomplished huntress. I'll gladly go back into that hole and help pack out another buck for her!

WOW!
Don't think I've seen a bigger bodied
muley than this one. Quite the rack too.

Buck anyone could be proud of. Sounds like the pack out was "typical" and a well earned buck. Glad she had lots of help. Without, she'd likely had to make camp right there til he was eaten.

Congrats to the lady, sure hope this one goes on the wall too.

George

Everyone that was there said he was by far the biggest bodied of all the deer they saw.
