DB BillIf it weren't for my bum knees it would be Ibex and Maral Stag in the mountains of the Far East.
For a real "dream hunt", it would be 28 days in Zim for elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and plainsgame that would begin a reasonable time after Mugabe was removed from office in chains

and it would be a bonus if he was shackled to his buddies from South Africa, Namibia and Kadaffi Duck.

Bison really are a surreal beast to hunt if you do it right. Email me . . . I have some contacts that I can forward to you.
hunter_fish,
You will notice that my above response was BISON BISON BISON! This is because every Bison hunt is a hunt with my dad. He wanted to hunt this species for as long as I can remember but never drew a Utah Henry Mountain Tag and didn't have the money (raising a kid you know) to pay for a fair chase hunt anywhere else ($4K in Custer or sometimes more in Canada). Well, he never got the chance to go before he passed away in 1991 so when I hunt buffalo it is with him.
Regards,

fla3006I'd have to agree with most of the other posts: Brown bear in Alaska. I'd probably take my M-70 375 but maybe my Ruger #1 458 Lott (as long as I had a good shot backing me up with a magazine rifle, which hopefully I wouldn't need!). I'd fish when I wasn't hunting. If we include other parts of the world ex-Africa, I'd like to hunt Asiatic water buffalo in the top-end of Australia.
