I have a pre-64 model 70 featherweight in 270. I would like to put a synthetic stock on it. Does anyone know who makes synthetic stocks for them?

Thanks.

Corey

Corey, McMillan makes synthetic stocks for your rifle; however, Wimers has NOS factory Winchester stocks for the pre-64 for $295 or about what you would pay for a McMillan and the value of your rifle with a new Winchester stock would increase by significantly more than the cost of the new stock! They have about 8 stocks left that were made from 1958 to 1962.

Is Wimers spelled Weimers? I got on their web site-they are out of featherweight stocks. I would like to get another stock for my 1955 made .243 FW. I don't like the original Monte Carlo stock.
