I just found out on another forum if you are a Photobucket user you must lock your account to keep your albums from public access. Their default setting allows unrestricted access. I checked mine and sure enough it was unlocked. Open your account and login. there will be a padlock by your username. If the lock is open your photos can be viewed by anyone. Also go to privacy and edit your settings. I did not know this and I am sure some others are unaware also.

***That's just one more reason not to use that kind of a site and why I like to go straight from my computer photo files, which this site won't allow or if it does I don't know how to do it and don't care to learn! I'm sure others that do use it will thank you for that message. Have a good one!

I have to agree with Ted. If you don't want it seen by people don't put it on the World Wide Web. It's just something about that name! :-)

Add 1 more to the list. If I have a picture on photobucket it is there for a reason, and that is so I can share it with people. RandyB, I appreciate the heads up on this, but I am not going to post ANYTHING on ANY site that I do NOT want the public to see.

It is an all actuality a really simple concept, if a person does not want a picture made available to the general public, do not put it on ANY Internet site, FaceBook, Photobucket, etc. etc. etc.

From experience the vast majority of us on these sites are fairly rank amateurs when it comes to the internet. Just post pictures you want to share with others and let it go at that. I seriously doubt many of us are going to post pictures of ourselves and our wife/girlfriend or goat having sex!

This is common sense crap folks, you don't want a picture circulating on the web, do not put it on ANY website.
