Mark and Jason were testing a new shotgun this weekend. The big hog got an idea that something was not quite right in the woods and took off at a full run. Mark got the swing just right and sent a saboted slug into his neck. The front legs folded in mid stride and he did a face plant into the dirt. That was some pretty good shooting with iron sights in the dark woods. This was a very exciting hunt. The rifled barrel shotgun works very well and is very acurate. I was using a Mossburg 835 12ga. with Remington rifled sabots. 2 3/4" Thanks to all. Mark Knight www.mmkoutfitters.com

Great shooting and a fine Hog Kill. Shotguns have changed a lot during my lifetime and there are some excellent Slug Guns being made today. They have Slug accuracy that was only dreamed about in my youth. Good Hunting and clean 1-shot Kills.
