Anyone heard from Tony? I have not seen him post anything since his Sheep hunt a year ago.

JBrownInteresting that you should post this. I was just thinking about Tony after I logged off last night.
He posted a hunt report on another forum regarding the sheep hunt. He was in failing health, if I'm not mistaken.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

It was good talking to you again.
It's been more than a year since I posted anything here, and a couple months since I logged in here. Wading thru all of the vitriol, name-calling and F-bombs from a couple of obnoxious individuals caused me to lose interest. In fact, it became tiresome to see almost every thread eventually go down the toilet, and it appears nothing much has changed. But hey, at least it provided me more time to play golf a few days a week.

I certainly miss his contributions but I totally understand his comments above...
I would say 90% of my customers don't post on AR anymore for the same reasons Tony gave.
