Seems I have seen mention of this combo on this forum but cant find it using the search function. Do any of you have any experience with this combo. I have been working up loads using H4350 and think I am gonna use up all my H4350 before I achieve good velocities, having a hard time breaking 2800 fps with 68.5 g. Am thinking from what I have seen using the 165TSXs in my 300 WSM that the 210 TSX in the 338 oughtta be quite deadly.

I use the 210 grain TSX with H 4350 in my 338WM. I started at 66 grains and ended up at 70 grains. I use a Fed. mag. primer and WW brass. The velocity is right at 2900. I also believe I have read about others getting a higher velocity. I stopped where I did because this was a max listed load on Hodgens web site and the uniformity and accuracy were very good in my rifle. The extreme spread was 13 and s.d. was 7. All groups fired were well under an inch with a couple at 1/2 inch. I shot a 3 point mule deer with it this fall. There was nothing solid left in the heart lung cavity except for a couple of small pieces of heart, and the broncial tubes. Hope this helps. DW

Thats good to know dwheels as I am at 68.5g now and still not breaking much over 2800, will keep adding juice till pressure signs arrive. I clearly started with too light a load (65g). Accuracy has been good just not increasing in velocity to where I want it.

I use RL19 and get 2900 fps, along with 3/4 in. 200 yard groups. I believe I am loading 75 grains. A shot not taken is always a miss
