Another tip that may or may not apply to you: If you wear contacts and take them off at night, sleep with your lens case inside of your sleeping bag...They're a bit hard to put on when frozen (does that sound like something that was learned by experience??? )

As Iread your post it says 20* not Minus 20*. Based upon that you should be fine. A good sleeping bag, a foam pad and if possible a cot will make it comfortable. I roll the foam up "MannyStyle" to pack in on the horses. The portable cots are light and easy to put in the panniers. Get your firewood collected and set aside where it will stay dry. If it's really cold it's nice to just reach out and put another log in the stove. I just spent 23 days this fall ( spread over 6 weekends) camping at 8000-10000 foot elevations elk hunting. We saw many morning temps of 15-20 degrees. It snowed almost every weekend this fall. We frequently had a foot of new snow in the mornings when we got up. I usually was more worried about being too warm in the sleeping bag. I also take an extra tarp or two. One to cover the saddles and tack and the other to put up for a place to stand around, usually over the firepit. The advice above is all good. sleep in thermals, have a good bag and foam pad, keep your hunting cloths under your sleeping bag so they are warm when you get up. ( I make a pillow out of my polar fleece jacket.) Put on clean dry sox's before bed, no sweat in them. If your feet get cold, throw a hand warmer in the bottom of the bag. But I find I don't like the ordor they put off in my bag. And hope your bladder is bigger than the night is long. Wall Tent Tarp over firepit

SteveM70, Lots of good advice above....you are in for a treat. You will likely find yourself overheated rather than cold in a tent that size with a stove. Take care and have a great hunt!
